Jose Mourinho: Arsenal Will Not Win the Champions League This Season

José Mourinho does not believe Arsenal are capable of winning the Champions League this season. The Real Madrid coach, speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, said he thought only seven clubs have a chance of winning European football's premier competition – and Arsène Wenger's team were not among them.

He listed his own side, Real Madrid, among the potential winners along with Barcelona, Internazionale, Milan, Chelsea, Manchester United and last season's runners-up Bayern Munich. "One of these will win," he said. "There could be a surprise like Lyon in the semi-finals last season, maybe Roma, Arsenal, Tottenham or Benfica but it's difficult."

Mourinho: New Look Milan Are A Real Threat

Former Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho believes AC Milan can emerge as Champions League contenders this season following the arrivals of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho at the San Siro.

 Milan signed striker Ibrahimovic on loan from Barcelona and acquired Brazilian forward Robinho from Manchester City on the final day of the transfer window.

PREMIER LEAGUE SQUAD LISTS
Full squad lists for a couple of the premier league teams with their homegrown players in bold.

This season, the premier league has introduced the new homegrown player rule. Clubs must include eight homegrown players out of a squad of 25.
A homegrown player is defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated with the Football Association or Fottball Association of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday (or the end of the season during which he turns 21)
Clubs will be able to supplement their squads with unlimited additional players under the age of 21
No more than 17 players can be over the age of 21 and not homegrown
This is  to give clubs "an extra incentive to invest in youth", "help the England team" and "ensure clubs are financially stable.

Iceland's analysis manager spied on Norway's closed practice

(Dagbladet): The former LSK player Runar Kristinsson, now head of analysis for the Icelandic national team, sneaked in to see the closed  Norwegian training in Reykjavik today.

- I saw the team, grins Kristinsson to TV 2 Sport .

The training was closed for the press after 20 minutes in the day,  something that has become normal to the Norwegian team to do the day before the battle in recent years.

Drillo would not reveal the starting lineup in his evening.

- Even the players have not been told the final lineup.  All other nations are waiting to give out the team, there's no point in us to do so. Iceland would certainly appreciate getting the information, "said the Norwegian coach.
