Some more information about the Selecção das Quinas in Euro 2012...
We're in Group B, arguably the most difficult one and already called the 'group of death', along with Netherlands, Denmark and Germany.
The first game will be against Germany on June 9.
The second game will be against Denmark on June 13.
The third game will be against the Netherlands on June 17.
And finally, Portugal's main and alternative kits, respectively...

Alright, just a few final things...
I decided to make this post in order to see if I could sway some of you - at least those who are still allegiance-free or whose respective National Teams will not be playing this summer (sorry about that by the way, if thats the case...) - into supporting Portugal.
Now, I know we're not exactly Spain looks-wise, but we're still pretty damn cool and hopefully this will finally be our year (ok, now I'm sounding just like the Liverpool supporter that I am...).
Anyway, hope
(Oh, and yeah, we have really looooooong names, I know...)

Date: 2012-05-22 08:55 pm (UTC)I remember when Hi5 was a huge deal in Portugal! Like, at least as popular as Facebook is now (at least among young people)! Then it started deteriorating - lots of spam, bad maintenance - and then Facebook came and it was pretty much over.
Haha, that's a great story!
UnfortunatelyI've never been close to any famous footballers, but I guess as Cesc's cousin you must be used that! :) If, say, Xabi Alonsoor Cescever wished me luck on, idk, anything!! it would pretty much make my year! :D And I'm well over 20, so you most definitely weren't a sad child. :PHe wasn't even famous back then - or guapo -.-'
Oh, I remember those days... I remember them well, hi hi hi! XD That god awful hair!!

Date: 2012-05-24 10:37 pm (UTC)Sorry if the whole famous relatives thing makes you feel uncomfortable - I remember the reaction of some of the males when I started college in the UK - they were all a bit, "Oh, well, that's awesome! Um..." And yeah, I just, don't think of them as famous I guess? Well, obviously I know people know who they are, but they are that goofy older dude who stole your ball when you were kids and kicked it in the river, and then jumped in to fish it out when you cried. Or the mean older dude who dropped you in the harbour when they dangled you to reach the ball that fell in - and then took it with two hands when you passed it. Just for me, I suppose it doesn't always cross my mind that some people don't see them as 'people'. Though I think the people here are certainly more 'down to earth' so to speak - not like those for example who literally think poor Leo is a god.
Nice to know I'm not the only one though! XD Mah, Xabi!!! I have met him, but do not 'know' him - though I would like to! ;)
And yes that hair! Though Cesc's wasn't much better recently - Lota did the world a favour tbh! :D
