Chelsea football fans prevent a black man from boarding a Paris metro train shortly before the Champions League fixture between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday. The unidentified passenger attempts to squeeze on to the train, only to be pushed forcefully back on to the platform at the Richelieu-Drouot station. The fans then chant: 'We're racist, we're racist and that's the way we like it'

Ugh, real talk? The actual reason why no one fucking likes Chelsea.
Fuck that noise. (Also fuck you LJ. Didn't you use to work better?)

If fans of a Turkish club go to an away game and send up flares in a stadium, then Turkish fans are assholes. If we hear about an Italian derby where fans chanted racists slurs at the other club's players and there was violence afterward, then Italian fans are violent and out of control. It wasn't that long ago that the first incident at Anfield got ALL English clubs banned from European competition for five years. UCL isn't Euro or WC, but inadvertently the club and fans represent the country to an extent.
The rest of the world looks badly on England, and the rest of England blames Chelsea, when in reality, it's a small group of people who are in no one's control. (It's similar to how when white foreign act like dickbags non-western countries, it's reflective of White Privilege)
as for JT -- I was saying he should be "encouraged" to do a social program promoting black youths' education, but
