Winter Transfer Deadline Day!

So today (February 2) is the day that winter transfer window closes. And let's face it, summers transfers are way more fun and worrying.

But anyway, what are your thoughts about this window? Has your club signed someone useful (or useless)? Have they missed out on any special player that you had your eye on? Any news/hopes/dreams about summer transfers? And while we're on the subject, what were the best transfers made by your club? Any shocking ones? Ones that made you weep or cheer or laugh?

There are tissues for tears and champagne for celebration available (silly, I know.)

Eh, the thing about Windows is that their new operating systems are always messes, so your dad is not completely wrong there about Windows 8 (from what I've heard...still using 7), but XP is toast, unfortunately.

I think I have finally taught my parents how to get their TV back on the proper channel. ;-P It hasn't taken 6 years but I've had to show them more than once.

You could...practice your technical writing skillz and write her a short how-to so she doesn't drive you crazy in the future. You could always try adding screenshots, too, if she's the sort of person that doesn't like to read instructions. It could be the solution to her bugging you about getting a job. XD

I actually wrote step-by-step instructions on how to torrent music and load songs on to her iPod. It was peaceful for a couple of months and then she lost the notebook which had all the instructions. If I go away, I'll have to sit with her and teach valuable skills like how to use her iPod, how to Skype with someone, how to copy stuff on to a hard drive, etc.
