There's this p.c. game I have called Alone in The Dark and everytime I look at the cover I think of Sergio.

It's like they found a picture of him and turned him into an rpg character. It's bananas.

Just thought I'd share (this is what late at night does to me)

The 2010 UEFA Champions League Final is a football match scheduled to be played on Saturday, 22 May 2010. It will be the 18th final of the UEFA Champions League under the current format and the 55th in total. The game will be played at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid.

In November 2007, it was decided that the 2010 final would be the first Champions League final to be played on a Saturday, rather than the traditional Wednesday.

As we are aware it's on a Saturday, what do you all think about that? (don't answer that, i just wanted to share these with you)

Also, some simple maths

18 + 3 = 21

18 + 5 = 23

FRANKS AND GOODNIGHT

FRANK Lampard's ex has taken revenge on the football star's cheating by publicly flaunting a new hunk.

Elen Rives snogged the man - named today as Stevenage footballer Lawrie Wilson - in the middle of a busy street.

Then they spent the night together at a London hotel. Smouldering pictures of them together will devastate soccer hero Frank Lampard.

They show his ex-fiancée Elen Rives passionately snogging and caressing the mystery hunk - before spending the night with him at a hotel.

The very public display of affection happened last Sunday, just weeks after Elen dumped the Chelsea and England soccer star who had cheated on her twice.

One witness told us: "Frank used to say he loved Elen's passion and that was certainly on display with this new guy. And once they started kissing it was no holds barred.

"They were snogging on every corner, in doorways and alleyways. They didn't care who saw them. Elen is clearly smitten."

And last night a friend of the 34-year-old Spanish beauty confirmed: "Elen has met someone she really likes and has fun with. It's early days but they laugh together, which is exactly what she needs to take her mind off everything."

BUT WAIT, THERE IS MORE. )

GERRARD: NEXT YEAR COULD BE OUR YEAR

Steven Gerrard today insisted he will use the disappointment of narrowly missing out on the Barclays Premier League to drive him on when the new campaign kicks off in August.
The Reds play their final away game of the season at West Brom today in the knowledge they can no longer catch Manchester United at the top of the table.

Gerrard has nothing but admiration for the way his teammates have maintained their pursuit of Alex Ferguson's men until the penultimate weekend of the season, and he believes the experience gained during the dramatic run-in should leave the Reds believing they can take the final step to glory next year.
Moreee )
The Reds XI in full is: Reina, Carragher, Agger, Arbeloa, Insua, Mascherano, Lucas, Kuyt, Gerrard, Benayoun, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Dossena, Alonso, Riera, Babel, Ngog, Skrtel.

AGGER STARTING. LET THE AGGER SPAM COMMENCE!

West Bromwich Albion suspend Roman Bednar pending drugs investigation

West Bromwich Albion have suspended Roman Bednar and launched an investigation after allegations that the Czech Republic striker had bought cocaine and cannabis from a drug dealer. Reports surfaced yesterday including pictures claiming to show Bednar purchasing drugs from a car parked outside his house only hours after Albion beat Wigan Athletic in their Premier League fixture nine days ago.

Albion immediately announced they would be starting an inquiry and revealed before yesterday's defeat by Liverpool that Bednar, who is the club's second-highest scorer this season with six goals, would be suspended. The 26-year-old, who has not started for Albion in the league since the end of December but has featured regularly as a substitute, is reported to have claimed he was buying the drugs for a friend when he was confronted with the allegations before later saying: "I'm fucked".

Bednar yesterday said: "I am sorry and deeply regretful for the stories that have emerged in the press today and the embarrassment and negative publicity it has brought to the directors, players and staff of West Bromwich Albion and all the supporters. My biggest disappointment today is of the team's relegation to the Championship and sincerely I hope to have the opportunity to help the club regain promotion next season."

Tony Mowbray, the Albion manager, held a meeting with his players yesterday morning to discuss the incident but insisted it had not affected his pre-match plans. "I don't think it disrupted the preparations," he said.

"I did have a word with the players this morning when they came in because it was obviously the main talking point but it's not for talking about today. The club have taken action until they can get to the bottom of it. Roman will be suspended until the club can find out all the details and I think that's all we should say at the moment."

Pushed on the matter further, Mowbray added: "We are all hopefully sensible human beings. I don't know what a drug is. I am sure there will be more opportunities to discuss it in the future. Today should be about the team that gave such a great account of themselves and the supporters that covered themselves in glory and showed how passionate they are about their football team and hopefully we can reward them next season."

The reports alleged that Bednar, who completed a £2.3m move from Hearts last summer after a successful loan spell at Albion, handed over £420 for cocaine and cannabis after the 3-1 win over Wigan.

Premier League players have regular random drugs tests and Bednar is reported to have claimed he has undergone three in the past year and insisted he is "clean". If, however, the allegations are proved, he faces a lengthy ban and could have his contract terminated. He has two years left on a three-year deal.

Rafa Benitez spoke of his pride after Liverpool overcame their title heartache to secure the club's highest ever Premier League points tally with a 2-0 victory over relegated West Brom.
The gaffer pointed to a clash between Jamie Carragher and Alvaro Arbeloa late on as evidence of the 'winning mentality' which could serve the Reds so well next term.

Benitez said: "You could see Carragher and Arbeloa because we wanted a clean sheet and they were a little bit nervous.

"Arbeloa was going forward and then we had some problems in defence. We wanted to protect Pepe Reina because now I think he has 20 clean sheets - van der Sar has 21.

"It's a positive message in terms of the mentality of the team. We wanted to show character and a winning mentality.

"We were looking for some targets: 83 points, a club record in the Premier League; 13 victories away - also a record. We also wanted to score goals and keep a clean sheet and for us I think this guarantees second position. We also wanted to stay as close as possible to United."

Liverpool have now tallied 83 points this term, one more than in 2005-06. Asked why this hasn't been enough to secure the title, Benitez responded: "Small details, little things.

"We have talked about the draws. Against Stoke we scored in the first minute and it was disallowed. It could have been different with the form we've been in at the end of the season.

"United have quality - especially on the bench. Against us they had Scholes, Giggs and Berbatov on the bench. You can change two or three players easily. We have less of these kind of players, though I am really pleased with my squad and really proud of what we've done this season.

"I will say congratulations to Manchester United - it's a good club, a big club."

Despite the disappointment, 2008-09 will go down as Liverpool's finest league campaign since the title was last brought to Anfield 19 years ago.

Benitez added: "It has been very positive in terms of the performance of the team during the whole season. We had some problems for maybe one month but, especially at the end of the season, and often without Torres and Gerrard, it has been very positive.

"If you analyse things properly you see that 83 points is massive. United is a very strong team with a big squad. They've won a lot of games 1-0, games which could have been different.

"But over nine months you usually finish where you deserve."
