Lukaku talks some sense in that interview. He knows how it is so Stones better listen carefully, Bamford too tbh. If Mourinho doesn't personally want you, just stay away. I like the third kit.

No word on the results? That's possibly not a good thing but I hope he did well. We don't have the GCSE concept in my country so it's a bit foreign for me.

I really hope someone will challenge Juve for the title. Roma is a good team. Milan struggled so I'm not sure I can see them jump from 10th to title challengers.

The GCSE is what we do at the end of 11th grade in Great Britain (and most of the former English colonies), and you get an 'O' level in at least eight subjects including Math, English, a science, and a foreign language (the posh schools insist on a compulsory foreign language which is either French or German). Then after that, you decide if you want to do the A Levels or the Baccalaureate (a lot of sixth forms are going this way due to the top colleges in the country preferring the Baccalaureate over the A levels, because the A levels have been changing too much).

I don't think footballers normally release their results unless they intend to do A levels, or go to uni, tbh. But all academies are required to support their students doing O and A levels because not everyone is going to be a professional footballers, and they have to decide on their future. The O levels in terms of results are valid for up to five to ten years, I think.

Yeah, Stones needs to sit down and think. Look at the people Mourinho has cast aside, they want Stones for his home player status, lol. With regards to Bamford, I don't think he's going to get into Chelsea, but his family is relatively well off (went to Nottingham Boys High School - pretty private and expensive), and has some book smarts about him. He'll be fine. But I won't be surprised if he finds his way to Spurs a couple of seasons down the road though (if Pochettino is still coach).

Oh I understand it a bit better now. It's simply a strange system for us. We can choose a direction in which we want to go based on our results but nothing is binding. And afterwards everyone can go to Uni. Even the students who did terrible in high school can become lawyers or engineers. Although that's obviously a difficult task.

If I remember correctly (I probably don't) the last season started with Roma being just 1 point behind Juventus so we shall see where it goes this year.
