I don't get Madrid's new kit. I prefer the darker grey to the lighter one, because the neon green shows up more. If push came to shove, I'd get the shorts over the shirt (I collect team shorts, because they stand up to thorns and such. I just wear them over a pair of thick tights when I go walking)

actually sis Sergio was the captain in that match. when he was subbed off he went straight to the tunnel along with the other captains. but when they're being awarded the trophy Crispy came back outside to lift the trophy so Arb*loa wouldn't have to. lol

I mean, no skin off my nose, tbh, but tumblr peeps were screaming. For all intents and purposes, Arbeloa is still a senior player, and he has more seniority than Cristiano, iirc.

CONCACAF are hella embarrassing because they fined Herrera and Bradley for infractions on their media policy but didn't specify what regulation it was they had broken. Only until they were pestered did they actually give a reason as to why Penedo was suspended for two matches (pushing an assistant referee following the match but I don't recall Penedo doing that and he is the last player to get super aggressive, but what would I know??) and they fined the Panamanian Football Federation for an undisclosed amount for "misconduct both on and off the field." So, yeah... w/e.

that match was a mess but Panama really did deserve better. Gómez said he was going to sit five players out that were sitting on yellow cards supposedly but even Klins came to their defense and said that it was BS that people were trying to assume Panama were writing off the match. it was a minimal gesture but I appreciated the fact that Klins did come out and say that Panama weren't just going to toss the match away like NBD

They dry quickly, have drawstring waists (really heavy elastic), and are pretty modest (they stop just above the knee), and the shorts do have nice details, like the team's crest. They also tend to have a darker hue than the tops, and are relatively light weight (compared to say board shorts). I rate them highly. I'd actually rock those RM shorts, NGL. They're supposed to feel like cotton.
