Women's World Cup USA 5- 2 Japan

Credit to the yanks for getting the sport before it was even a 'thing' world wide for women. Title X, right?

All 16 national federations for the teams that failed to get out of the group stage at the 2014 men’s World Cup received $8 million from FIFA. That was $6 million more than the winning national federation will receive at this year’s Women’s World Cup, and that is just the start of the disparity.”

I thought the match was today, LOL at me. Anyway, just as well, the scoreline suggests a slaughter. Not Germany vs Brazil type, but still, if I'd stayed up for that I'd have been annoyed

USA got a hat trick against Japan in sixteen minutes, and The Daily Mail calls it 'a thriller'. LOL
OP: Done! Any cheers, jeers, corrections and commentary pushback, you know the drill! Cheers
RE: Miro Klose gave an interview.
I also think the decision to retire was also the right one. However, aren't the rumours that Per and Lahmpoleon will guide the bbs in the olympics? I think that is a good choice. I wouldn't protest having them back for Euro too since the team seems teetering on the edge, but I think Fips coming back would place question marks on Basti's captaincy (not that he's a bad captain, but only that Lahmpoleon was the previous captain so it'd be a weird dynamic). I think having Legends on the olympic team would definitely give the bbs something to be excited about. OTOH, having them + Miro back would be weird because Germany's main problem is still strikers+defenders, and bringing back experienced strikers and defenders isn't going to help that.
Anyway, what a cute interview. So excited to see Lazio in the UCL next year because I get to see him play ^.^
