Ochoa confirmed for Malaga move

One of the World Cup's hottest commodities this year has finally chosen a club to play for. He was playing as a free agent during the Cup after his contract with Ajaccio expired last season, and now the Mexican Ted Mosby is moving from France to Spain. There is no doubt that Ochoa will clinch the #1 keeper position as Malaga lost theirs to ManCity. Malaga will introduce Ochoa in a news conference this Friday, August 1.

Whew. I'm so relieved that all my favorites are either in (or going to) La Liga or EPL. No need to stress over/keep tabs on other leagues. :p

EDIT: Edited to add the pic from the presentation.

A bit underwhelming considering the hype around him during the World Cup (I thought he would end up at a big club), but I'm glad he will be in Spain.

True, but now he's almost sure of the number one spot. Instead of sitting on the bench as the second keeper, which would happen at most of the big clubs.

You're right and I guess that as a goalkeeper he still has quite a few years ahead of him, even though he's not that young anymore.

He's older than I thought. Then this might have been his chance to play for a big club. But I hope it works out for him.
