THIS IS A KLOSE POST

Aside from being the all-time scorer, he is also holding the record for most semis.
His record of when he scores Germany doesn't lose still holds.
And what does he do after the game? The first thing he does?
Goes over to hug and speak to Brazil's coach.

And then I saw the scoreline and had to run next door with a coworker to make sure we were not insane.
And then go back to work.
And realize I was too neurotic and go back next door only to realize they'd locked the building and had to wait around for someone to let me in.
I am not so sure he proved us wrong per se - the BIGGEST change we have seen since Algeria is that he's gone back to our usual formation. Which I am thinking is partially because Schweinsteiger and Khedira are (hopefully) 100% now. So here's hoping.

I had begun to despair that Miro would never reach this goal. This is just fantastic.

Klose is one of the nicest and humble players I have seen. He also has a wicked sense of humour, demonstrated in many interviews throughout the years. I really wish they had shown us Ronaldo's face when he scored that goal. (Ronaldo was in the stadium)
