Rich Bavarian tradition was part and parcel of the annual team visit to the famous Oktoberfest on Sunday lunchtime. And the foaming festival ale will hardly ever have tasted better than now, as FCB comfortably lead the Bundesliga with a new record streak from the start of the season of 21 points from seven matches, with 21 goals scored and only two conceded. The players, coaches, support staff and officials, all smartly kitted out in rustic lederhosen, visibly enjoyed their time in Käfer's marquee, “and they can all have as much as they want," declared Jupp Heynckes, “I'm looking forward to a few very jolly hours."
