The young Welshman has come into his own this season, putting in strong performances through the course of the campaign and the 21-year-old has been linked with moves away from the north London club.
With Spurs currently facing an uphill battle to qualify for the Champions League, The Mirror reports that the Blues could boost their prospects of landing the winger if they beat Harry Redknapp's men this weekend, denting their hopes of a top-four finish.
Bale recently won the PFA Player of the Year award for his displays during the course of this season.

Oh. No. They. Wont.
Warning all Chelsea fans: take him and we (United and friends) will destroy you. But really this is just an excuse to post shirtless Bale pics and start a war with Chelsea fans. Come on blues, step up to the plate.

Date: 2011-05-01 03:57 am (UTC)it can be fun as long as you're with the right people, but there are many more and better ways of having fun that don't involve grinding up on people and all that. I'm down for anything but I think a lot of people, especially young people (and I say this as someone who's young) that are really preoccupied with image and all that crap so they opt to do 'fun' things that I think later on they wont find as fun..
gareth does not gusta!!!
Re: EDIT ANSWER TRUTHFULLY
Date: 2011-05-01 04:14 am (UTC)i'd wish you good luck, but you know :D it's not like you're gonna need it tho.
yeah i know all of my friends in high school were like that - if you don't go out clubbing every friday and saturday your life is invalid. and i always thought i was boring as heck but then i got to college and i realized i'm not the only one :)
gareth encanta it! i saw him talking to torres and i think they're gonna get along just fine bc they both mumble like their life depends on it.
Re: EDIT ANSWER TRUTHFULLY
Date: 2011-05-01 04:20 am (UTC)in high school people did stupid shit in my area but unfortunately a lot kept it up in university. this one friend of mine keeps trying to get me to go clubbing and stuff with him but I'm not budging haha.
pssht! I actually havent seen many bale interviews so I'm not fully sure to the extent of which he mumbles, but from the ones Ive seen hes not that bad. torres is incomprehensible.
Re: EDIT ANSWER TRUTHFULLY
Date: 2011-05-01 04:26 am (UTC)i come from a smaller town (well not really but compared to vancouver where i am now, yes) and everyone was just following the norm. in college i finally realized i don't need to hang with all of my high school friends and actually enjoy myself. but like you, that doesn't stop them from forcing me to go out (they recently opened a "pole dancing" club in vanc, but i politely declined). where are you from btw? if it's not too stalkerish.
uh oh. i need to rewatch them and not just because he's pleasing to the eyes. i feel like him and torres speak this secret language only mumblers understand. the funny thing about torres is his english fluent but his accent and mumbling are just beyond this world.
Re: EDIT ANSWER TRUTHFULLY
Date: 2011-05-01 04:34 am (UTC)yea I come from a smaller town too, a suburb in ottawa, and people did all that because there is/was nothing else to do. i actually really hate my hometown lol, everything about it irks me.
high school friends are pretty boring I have to admit, I dont really hang out with my hs friends anymore even though I see some really often. the ones i see most just go to my uni now so it happens. otherwise I have 0 in common with 99% of them
maybe bale's just speaking welsh and we just dont know it. torres I cant account for, he confuses me.
Re: EDIT ANSWER TRUTHFULLY
Date: 2011-05-01 04:45 am (UTC)yeah i feel you - in victoria it's like either you're really sporty and you're just obsessed with running around all the time or you get drunk every day. because those are the only 2 alternatives. everyone from my high school went to ubc vancouver, uni of victoria or ubc okanagan so i'm bound to see them. there are like 5 french canadians here and they're (surprisingly) lovely people. a lot more chill. even tho they're habs supporters etc.
torres' is just wah. maybe he thinks he's still in spain and can speak spanglish or something. and there's some icky scouse mixed with that...how his conversations with people work is beyond me. i like listening to aaron ramsey speak tho. lovely.
Re: EDIT ANSWER TRUTHFULLY
Date: 2011-05-01 04:53 am (UTC)i havent heard aaron speak yet. will have to start looking these players up haha, i usually only really watch united player interviews unless i LOVE a player
Re: EDIT ANSWER TRUTHFULLY
Date: 2011-05-01 05:06 am (UTC)i normally watch a lot of interviews of players whose style of play i like just so i can form my opinion better. but i normally always just watch jt and lamps interviews. i liked aaron when i watched him play for wales and he actually seems like a really level headed guy. also he speaks fluent welsh and after that i was sold.
