Chelsea set to make a £40m move for Tottenham winger Gareth Bale?

Chelsea are believed to be keen on making a £40 million move to land Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale.

The young Welshman has come into his own this season, putting in strong performances through the course of the campaign and the 21-year-old has been linked with moves away from the north London club.

With Spurs currently facing an uphill battle to qualify for the Champions League, The Mirror reports that the Blues could boost their prospects of landing the winger if they beat Harry Redknapp's men this weekend, denting their hopes of a top-four finish.

Bale recently won the PFA Player of the Year award for his displays during the course of this season.

you should try to sell a 'i had an affair with _____ (insert footballer)' story and just slip some of those transfer rumours in there for them to seem legit. because apparently that's the only way to get your name out there in football if youre a woman :(
