Morgan transfer listed for Twitter outburst

Aldershot Town forward Marvin Morgan has been suspended, fined two weeks wages and placed on the transfer list after using his Twitter account to abusively respond to fans after getting booed when substituted during the club's 2-1 defeat to Hereford on Monday.
"Where's that [support] going to get you! I hope you all die." Morgan tweeted after the game. He has since apologised. A club statement released yesterday read: "The player accepted that his conduct was totally misguided and inappropriate."
I love that footballers are on twitter, but maybe some kind of "twitter policy" or media training is needed? I mean, I assume he wasn't being entirely serious.
