2. How passionately he plays every game, how charitable he is, the fashion lols, how he is always smiling, how much he cares for his family and friends.

3. While he isn't actually playing in this photo it's my favorite on field one because its the culmination of all the work he has done out there; and he uses this moment to comfort a friend. perfectio.

5. He wants to retire back in Sevilla (the city, not the club!), d'aww.

LOL. You mean in my dreams where I'm not living in the US, speak better Spanish, and where he's single and into (slightly) older women? Then, um, your powers of deduction are correct, haha! But I'm open to other options...

My aunt (by marriage) lives in Madrid, so maybe I need to plan a long vacation. ;)

But I'm just being silly. I think Silva is really fun to watch too as a player and is adorable and I giggled at "I want to pet his hair".

hes a bamf when it comes to defense, hes a cheap drunk, and is the one of the only players to still tuck his shirt into his shorts
but real talk - he is so young, but conducts himself with class on the field. every (sober) interview i have seen of him, he has come across as intelligent, well-spoken, and mature. he is a key player in the back four and rightfully won himself a permanent place on the first team of both barca and the spanish nt.

oh ditto. Lisa seems very genuine and down to earth. i think this is true for all German WAGs, except probably for Özil's.

A+ for Müller. I love him so much, next to Bastian.

Ruud's goals were beautiful, I'll always remember so many of them. I just wish he didn't have to be an ass.

Got loads of respect for Becks for his time with us/his love for United but I wish he never left/had to make Sir Alex sell him but then again if he hadn't we probably wouldn't have had Ronaldo. I guess everything happens for a reason.

MY FAVORITE RANDOM FACT ISSSSSS... when he was "a young lad" as he would say about his younger self, his grandpapa was a director for Barça and he had Louis van Gaal over and he told him that gerard would be the future central for Barça and van Gaal pushed him against the dinner table and he fell and told him "he wasn't strong enough to be a Barça defender. And now he's a world champion :)
