1) Nicolas Anelka : It's half time between France & Mexique. Les Bleus are back in locker room, score is still 0-0.
Raymond Domenech says politely to Nicolas he should stay forward and stop going down on the pitch to touch more balls because after all, he IS a forward.
Contrary to common sens it seems that Nicolas didn't agree with this order so Raymond said he would be substituted if he didn't respect his instructions.
According to "L'équipe" (and it's a serious newspaper we can trust) Anelka replied by saying "Fuck you, son of a bitch!"
Then Domenech decided to send him off the pitch and to replace him with AP Gignac so the substitution was absolutely not a tactical choice but more something like a sanction.
2) Billy G's case : at the end of the game, he just held the middle finger to journalists who where asking him to react right after the defeat. Classy !
3) Gourcuff's step back : Lately we heard things about the bad atmosphere in the French NT and here is another confirmation of what we were told : Ribéry, Anelka, Gallas & Evra can't stand Yoann Gourcuff and might actually hate him.
Yoann was being interviewed when Ribery arrived. "L'équipe" writes "When Gourcuff sees Bayern midfielder coming, the scene is striking : he avoids his glance and step back to let him go ahead - just like a docile little boy fearing a caïd"
