The transfer window finally closes. I don't want January.

So which transfers brought you joy and which brought you sadness?

Real Madrid is having a last minute sale, your very own Miquel Torres for just 2 million euro.

And I thought the Dutchies were cheap.

Poor Johnny Heitinga, this morning: I wont go to Everton. A few hours later: Heitinga sold for 6 million, see Perez Atletico knows how to do business

IA although I was kinda glad or Arbeloa, returning to his childhood club and all.

now i think of it i'd be gladder if he had gone to another team.
But it's best for him with Johnsoon and his incredible form. He would've warmed the bench all season long.

I just hope for him that he doesn't become a bench warmer at RM. I still think VDV is stupid for staying.

Some smaller clubs, there were rumors he could return to HSV or join Everton.

But still better than being a bench warmer. I think he will leave in january after Sylvie's chemo is over.

Ah okay.
Yeah, joining everton(as much as I hate them) would've been a smart move for him.
But did he want to stay or were their offers refuse?

IA. I don't think RM will refuse any offers, they will just be glad to have some players of their payroll.

He told a dutch "newspaper" that now he has his number back he wanted to stay and try his chances, if he gets to little time to play he will move in January, but is also staying in Madrid for personal reasons.

Personally I still think he should have never left HSV, that club was perfect for him.

it was smart in a sense of getting CL footie and going to a 'bigger' club.

Mmmm. VDV is just an exaple that going to a bigger club does not always work out.

At HSV he was one of the most important players, at RM he often is a benchwarmer.

Like you I don't know, I hope itworks out for him, whter he stays or leaves in Januari.
