As you all may remember (or not) a few weeks ago Guti presented himself as the manager of a band called Preciados. Well a couple of days ago he presented his band at a pub called El Ensanche. His boy Michel Salgado also joined him.

"Me hubiera gustado tener un grupo de rock o poder dedicarme a la música. De no ser futbolista sería cantante, aunque es una ilusión difícil de conseguir porque no canto muy bien. Y tampoco sé tocar ningún instrumento musical."

To translate roughly what he's trying to say is that he would've loved to have a band or dedicate himself to music but he can't sing and he can't play an instrument, so that dream is a bit difficult to fulfill.

The article talks more about the band, but I only really care about Guti :D so...I'll skip over that. You can read it at the original source if you understand Spanish.

Then he was asked about my friend and yours Florentino's new acquisitions for Real Madrid he answered:

"Es un presidente que en su día hizo las cosas bien y su vuelta está llevando al equipo a la altura a la que debía estar. Aunque se ha pagado mucho por dos jugadores, el precio lo marca el mercado y el Real Madrid es un club que, a diferencia de otros, se lo puede permitir porque está convencido de que en un futuro dará rentabilidad."

Basically he's saying that Florentino is a president that in his day did things well and upon his return is bringing the team back to its height, where it should be. And although they have paid a lot for two players, the price is determined by the market and Real Madrid is a club that, unlike others, can allow it because it is convinced that it will pay off in the furture.

Then they asked him about La Seleccion Española:

"Es impresionante lo que están haciendo y hay muy pocas cosas negativas que decir de ella. Ganar la Copa Confederaciones es un buen paso para el Mundial."

He said basically, that what La Seleccion is doing is amazing and that there are very few negative things that can be said about them. And that winning the Confederations Cup is a good step for the World Cup. (obviously this article was a few days before Spain lost :( )
