Hola chicas!
The past couple of weeks have been extremly hard for all of us, between Florentino ruining everything once again, the drama that followed up the big spendings to the recent secret post, we can seriously say we got it pretty bad.

Though, with all that, it's time we'll sit down a bit and have a talk about all this: share with us your frustrations, your thoughts, predict some line ups, talk about who might be leaving us, who might join us soon, tactics, post some pics aswell for all I care! But yeah let's have a chat.

Just reading the article in the Times this morning about the fire sale: the likes of Robben, Huntelaar, Drenthe, Van Der Vaart & Van Nistlerooy all for sale.

Seriously no club with players of that caliber in its squad should be selling or "getting rid".

I don't know whether it could be because of fresh beginnings, money issues? because of the transfers of Ronaldo and Kaká or part of a bargaining tool/bait for more of their targets (Ribery, Villa, Alonso etc)...

Still......it's awful that these players could be gone from Real Madrid in the summer.

it sounds awful, but we have like 3 or 4 players for some positions and keeping them would make no sense.

I can justify selling Van der Vaart (he didn't work out and spent more time partying), Drenthe ( I think he'd rather go than stay) and maybe Van Nistlerooy because he might not be as fit but I hate what they've done to Huntelaar, he could have been great for them if he had been given a chance.

I haven't watched enough of Real Madrid for the past 2 seasons to really comment on the player themselves, but if you can justify reasons as to why they probably will make way, then I'll agree with you.

Still I cannot believe that out of "squad players" you have all these great players.

The thing is though, that most of them haven't performed up to standard. They sound good on paper, but it just hasn't worked. Plus we have loads of good players covering the same positions, and they're just not getting play. It makes sense to get rid.

tbh, i get why they're selling them. but i wish they gave huntelaar more time, he was doing well and could've developed even further. =/

From what I read it's because of the massive amount they spent on C.Ron and Kaká. Robben is the one they expect to recoup the most from. They also have put Saviola and Heinze up for sale.

It's just amazing reading the names of these great players that are up for sale.


I know it's got nothing to do with administration but wow, it reminds me of the Leeds United fire sale years ago with all the great names.

Saviola, sadly for him, has been for sale for a while now but yeah things just don't work out for him :(

the money spent on cron and kaka will be back in not time, their names are a brand.

rm is selling because we don't need more than two players for one position.

I feel that most of the Dutch players would actually fit into Arsenal's style of football. I suppose it depends on which clubs are willing to pay the amount for the players and also if they're interested in having them.
