Toronto soccer fans will have to pay up to $215 a seat to see European titan Real Madrid this summer.
Toronto FC yesterday announced prices from $140 to $215 – compared to a range of $23 to $180 for regular Major League Soccer games – for its international friendly against the 31-time Spanish champions on Aug. 7 at BMO Field.
But TFC season-ticket holders, who make up by far the largest percentage of the 20,000 fans who pack the stadium every game, and those on waiting lists for season tickets, will be able to buy tickets at discounted prices, starting at $125.
Season-ticket holders will get the first opportunity next Monday. Those on waiting lists will get a chance next Wednesday, June 17.
Sales to the general public will begin on June 22 at 11 a.m.
