Maybe he does love Milan with all his heart. Wouldn't be the first time a player left a club they loved. I don't think "more money" is the reason because Chelsea and Man City have offered more and he wasn't interested.

Idk, it just bothers me that the mood in the air is basically "wtf only soul-less sellouts would want to go to Madrid."

For me, it's not the idea of him at RM that is awful... b/c thank goodness it's RM, a classy team that deserves classy players. It's the idea of him ANYWHERE but Milan. And you're right it wasn't more money, it was not his choice to go. He's a wanted commodity and Milan needs money.

Please take care of him for us. And by us, I mean Serie A fans. Our league is a little bit lesser w/o him representing for us.

*runs off to cry*

ia, and i'm a madridista. i loved watching him at milan and with milan fans, that kind of connection you just don't see every day.

i will love him the same in a white kit, but i'll always be a little sad for him.

No, okay... to be clearer: he didn't have a desire to leave. He wanted to stay, but financially Milan couldn't turn down the offer. I'm not trying to say he was hogtied and thrown into the Bernabéu.

really? it was impossible for him to renegotiate his overly exorbitant contract to lessen the strain on the club, perhaps leading other players to do the same (lol only in my perfect world I guess can't part with a weeks salary of ~$208,000)? there was no other way for milan to get money, like idk an investment from their massively-rich owner? I understand they're in financial straits, but it's not like kaka is a victim here - if he wanted to stay that badly, he would have. he's in that top echelon of players who can do that.

He didn't want to go. He has no option, the club needs money and he wasn't given a choice. Same thing happened w/ City in January, but that fell through. This time it didn't.
