You can't have it both ways, buying mercenaries at top dollar and then expecting them to pledge their troth to the club.I It's just a job to them, and they are always keeping an eye out for the other transfer. This is why you need strong academy lads in the side, to pass on what the shirt means, but there's not so much of that in English football anymore. The class of '92 need to let a lot of comforts that they've grown up with go.
