Liverpool should be fine. Or you're gonna have to get Rodgers head on a spike.
I don't trust Rodgers at all. The thing is, it's widely believed that he has to get top 4 to keep his cushy job, I don't think the American owners are gung ho about Europa leagues and whatnot, although for the sake of the English coefficient, Rodgers really should take Europa league seriously, especially since he's stated that he wishes to work in Spain, and they seem to love Europa over there.
As for Spurs (despite myself, I have a soft spot for the team) all their players are pretty young and raw (half the team are academy grads), Pochettino is going to have a time. He (Pochettino) also needs to get his head around Europa. I am aware of his disdain for it, but you have to crawl before you can walk, much less run in the Champions League, so he better suck it up.
