My guess is that Basti becomes captain for next 2 years (Euros) and than he retires from NT and either Sami or Mats take over. My vote would go to mats tbh ... he already captained Dortmund on some ocasions and is a favourite for the armband now that Kelly stepped down. I think if Mats becomes captain at Dortmund, he will be ready for NT captaincy in 2 years.
