I approve of how we have started this match.

Kompany red was a little harsh, but "he got the ball" is no excuse for a world-class defender to lunge in two-footed.

Rooney got a header, Kompany got a red for a (debatable) two-footed tackle. He got the ball but that's irrelevant to current rules, the issue is whether he deliberately went in with both feet, or if the second foot followed.
