I was actually just reading a Turkish article about this and the subtitle read, "In a stadium where men fight to hold their own and a professional league where female referees are rare, Sian Massey gave everyone a much needed lesson in the offside rule." I love that last line. ((:

And the title is "Scousers loved this 'lady' ref." And they put the lady in quotes because a linesman is a linesman regardless of sex! This needs to become a standard, not some 'omg, there's a woman out there!'
