sergio, sometimes you think you're a striker lol i noticed this about 10 min before the first half ended. why so forward? :)

the potential for a crissy-ozil pairing is interesting. i think with crissy's footwork and ozil's creative attacks, it could be something. especially with di maria thrown in. i do think however ozil needs to be more. stable? i guess is the word.

xabi, your passes have returned lol that deep, down the side one to higuain before di maria's header was insightful. clearly Dep was using walls as their defensive and since we couldn't get through it, beating it before it got to the goal was effective

di maria, i think he's like ozil, but a bit more consistent/sharp than him. he has some precision attacks, as seen by the ruthless header today. homeboy didn't even break stride! lol

marcelo. oh his acrobatics, that's all i'll say :)

ozil, i didn't think he was going to score that when he cut backwards but somehow snuck it in. good job.

after about 30 minutes, the team overall learned that running forward in pairs or solo, the last pass before trying to score was predictable and tehrefore intercepted by the wall of doom lol but then they started breaking ahead and it worked for them

excited for second half!
