There's a leg in Turkey and another in Germany. I'm both excited and nervous about our home leg cause the fans are going to be CRAZY.

It's funny cause most of us think he made the smarter move and deserves to be on the German NT - his style definitely has Turkish flare, but that country raised him, not us. The commentators love him. It's just the possibility of that minority that scares me. I wouldn't be surprised though if they show up with 'We love Mesut' signs either. lol

That is good. I really hate that minority. People in France were bitter that a lot of the youth players choose Algeria over France as their nt even though they were born in France.

I understand that though - I think for a lot of those players, it's also about playing time. For example, our team has Turkish Germans and Turkish Brazilians who otherwise probably wouldn't get starting positions.
