I... don't get why everyone is so upset at him? he asked for a transfer last year, Liverpool told him wait a year, a year later Liverpool tried to back out, he didn't play against Man City because he was upset and thus in no fit state to play, he finally managed to get himself transferred due to his own effort and diligence, not Liverpool's, and then he gets absolutely piled on in the press for it, including by Liverpool's manager. I don't see how Mascherano is the bad guy here.
