I read about "the gay sister comment" in our media too. I might be off but his response doesn't really surprise me that much. I don't really know anything about him, don't follow him, but although he was born in Sweden he was still raised surrounded by people from Balkan (Croats, Bosnian, Serbs?) and people here (Balkan) still tend to be homophobic and men can be especially defensive faced with being called gay. Still, this is just my impression of how things in his response could be. It should probably be taken with a grain of salt.
