Ching posts this shit on his twitter ahahahaha

LRs here

The Eastern Conference is harder than the Western Conference, and look at all those ties. DC, Chicago, Houston, and Chivas are the top of the bunch right now, but Columbus, Kansas City, Colorado, and Seattle (assuming they can win [against a team that isn't SJ] instead of tie) are gunning up there. Toronto have a harder schedule coming up, New England are just getting over some bad injuries, and New York is... New York + a bunch of injuries. Salt Lake may kick it up a notch, but Colorado made a pretty good trade (getting Pat Noonan for a pick and $$$) the other day, which makes me put them before their rivals. If LA gets some wins quick, they'll be better off (their schedule is half-hard, half-easy for the next month or so). San Jose is still stuck in its expansion blues and Dallas is just fucked - they should be doing better with their talent.
But with the way this league is (and it's not even half over yet), New York will end up with the first EC playoff spot or some crazy shit.
Here is a current shortlist of cities the USSF has asked for WC hosting proposals.
Here is the current US Open Cup bracket - a PDL team is still kicking around in there, impressive. Sadly, my Cleveland team lost, thus denying me the opportunity of a Battle for Ohio, but there's a Sounders/Portland game (played at Portland) and that shit will be ~crayzay~ even though Timber Jim isn't doing his thing anymore.
